Domus Chemicals is committed to ensuring the compliance of its products and manufacturing cycles in accordance with international quality standards and enviromental and social safeguard requirements. In this context, the Company works in conformity with all management criteria governed by current regulations on correct industrial practice, obtaining Quality certification UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015, since 1996 and Environmental certification UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015, since 2020.
The referring certified systems integrate with Safety Management System, developed in compliance with Legislative Decree no. 105, 26th June 2015 (concerning the implementation of Directive 2012/18/EU) on the control of major accident hazards involving dangerous substances.
Voluntary certifications adopted by Domus Chemicals also include RSPO sustainability standard for the promotion of products deriving from sustainable palm oil plantations, Factory Mutual certification relating to fire resistant hydraulic fluids, Kosher and Halal certifications issued on food grade lubricant.

RSPO Shared Responsability

As a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Domus Chemicals supports the vision of a global partnership to make palm oil sustainable, working on the implementation and compliance of the SR task forces recommendations that includes environmental and social standards.
More than one of these requirements is certified, thus externally verified, the others are still a priority for the company and are part of the policies disclosed on the website (e.g. code of ethics).
Domus Chemicals shares SR performance in ACOP and in the MyRSPO portal, mantaining up-to-date information. 

REACH

Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, or REACH, rules the registration, evaluation and authorization of chemicals in Europe. The objective of REACH is to ensure a high protection level of human health and environment by improving the knowledge of dangers and risks arising from chemicals.
It also aims to strengthen the competitiveness and innovation capacity of the chemical industry through the promotion of free circulation of substances in the internal market.

Domus Chemicals is committed to ensuring the compliance with regulation's obligations by adopting a proactive approach through its participation in the FEUC Fatty Acid Ester Umbrella Consortium.
